The space
We are a privately run guesthouse and look forward to your stay in our bed and breakfast away from mass tourism in the traditional village of Gersau on the Mediterranean Lake Lucerne.

Here in the room "Rigi Burggeist" you have a very cozy warm wooden room on the top floor with views of the roofs of Gersau.

The room is furnished with a bed 160 x 200 cm, a seating area consisting of a table and two chairs to relax and enjoy a cup of tea or maybe a glass of wine.

Sustainability and regionality are our top priorities.

Organic bedding, allergy-friendly laundry detergent and also our breakfast is sustainable * fair * organic.

Your day starts with a one-time breakfast with local food and/or producers, or from farms we know and ensure a sustainable farm tour.

Breakfast between 7.30 am and 9.30 am

Muesli, seasonal fruit, plant-based drinks, tea, cafe, as well as bread, rolls, honey and jams of the region and a cheese variation. You are welcome to wish your egg dish with us in the morning.

Freshly strengthened, you can enjoy the day on the terrace, on the rooftop, while hiking or at the lake.

The breakfast room is of course also available to you after breakfast, from 12:00 pm.

In the evening you can borrow books at the reading corner, make game evenings or simply enjoy the sunset on the rooftop (roof terrace depending on the weather) in the sun lounger.

We have various cold drinks at very fair prices in the house for self-service, local beers, wine or of course also soft drinks.

We also have our own organic & Regio shop in the house with delicious products of the region. Cool drinks, ice cream and some exciting products that we are always happy to tell you about.

Of course, there are always three toilets at your disposal (one on each floor) +a shower as well as a shower / bathtub. You are welcome to use the showers/bathtub between 6:00 in the morning and 22:00 in the evening.

If you travel with an infant under two years old, we can provide a baby travel cot. Additional costs are CHF 20 per stay. Please make sure to register in advance.

The lounge and the terrace are available for you. Please only use drinks and food purchased from us. If you feel like having a snack, talk to us or ask Jennifer in the village shop in the basement.

The kitchen is only accessible to staff.

During your stay
On some evenings, it turns out that we also sit together, I create a drink or spontaneously ask if the guests today want dinner on the magnificent terrace at fair prices.

Let yourself be surprised, through our travels around Europe and Asia, we bring many ideas and like to spontaneously unpack our chef's knives.

Of course, we are happy to advise as a tour guide what the area offers, reserve a table for you in the great restaurants in Gersau or are also available for help and advice.
