Our newly built accommodation in 2025 is picturesquely located on the edge of the Bad Salzuflen town forest.
The fully equipped apartment is an ideal starting point for long hikes in the 630-hectare forest area. The good connection to the A2 motorway is useful for quickly reaching the surrounding towns. A large free parking lot offers plenty of space for trucks and caravan combinations. Location and Excursions: Our accommodation is quietly located, away from busy roads, yet only about a 10-15 minute drive from Bad Salzuflen, Herford, and Vlotho. A bus connection is 150 meters away, and shopping facilities, doctor's and dentist's offices, and ATMs are 2 km away. We are very easy and quick to reach from the A2 Herford Ost motorway exit. Parking, even for large vehicles with trailers, is free of charge and directly on our property.
A walk through the Bad Salzuflen town forest is highly recommended, especially with children; it is right on our doorstep.
During the summer months, the mini-golf course "Zur Loose" with a lovely restaurant and beer garden can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. Further excursion destinations include the Vitasol thermal spa and sauna area (7 minutes by car), H2O wave pool with an outdoor pool and sauna area (12 minutes by car), Martha Herford (13 minutes by car), Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Centre (16 minutes by car), and the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument on the Weser in Porta Westfalica (25 minutes by car). Children are very welcome. Smoking and pets are not allowed in the apartment! For further information, please also refer to our house rules on our homepage.
