Rowan Cottage is a charming holiday home located on a working farm in the quaint village of Alderwasley, near Circh, Derbyshire.
With ample off-road parking, spacious accommodations, and en-suite bedrooms this delightful retreat is perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a tranquil countryside escape.
Upon entering the property, you will be greeted by a spacious open-plan area, thoughtfully designed to cater to all your needs.
The kitchen is fully-equipped, ready for you to prepare delicious meals for your group.
The dining area, with seating for all guests, provides the perfect setting for memorable meals shared over some friendly conversation.
After dinner, retire to the sitting area, where you can relax in front of the Smart TV with your favourite shows on and enjoy the warmth of the woodburning stove.
When the sun sets, the three bedrooms have everything you need to catch your much-needed rest.
On the ground floor, you will find a king-size bedroom, upstairs is another king-size bedroom, complete with an en-suite featuring a walk-in shower, offering a touch of indulgence and convenience.
The third bedroom is a family room, offering ample space and an en-suite with a freestanding bath and walk-in shower, providing you with a choice of either a hot soak or steamy rinse from the comfort of your own room.

Rowan Cottage - Fold Yards, a house consists of a kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/table top freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster, a dining area with dining seating for all guests, and a sitting area with Smart TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a ground-floor king-size, a king-size, and family room. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, double basin, and heated towel rail and WC. Outside, there is a rear patio with furniture and a shared front garden with patio and gravelled area, plus off-road parking for plenty of cars. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. You can find a shop in 2 miles and a pub in 1.5 miles. WiFi, fuel, starter pack for woodburning stove, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Rowan Cottage - Fold Yards is a wonderful escape to Derbyshire, whatever time of year. Note: Bookings at this property must be a minimum of 2 nights. Lovely cottage in beautiful area. Loved seeing the cows out of the windows. Large spacious property. Comfortable beds. Very peaceful & quiet. Beautiful big free standing bath but unfortunatley water not very hot , same with the showers slow pressure & not very hot.

A beautifully presented property, in a great location. This house was spotless upon arrival and our initial look at the property was nothing but positive. We all had a fabulous time here. We stayed at Rowan’s Yard for a friend’s reunion weekend. It was a lovely property, perfect for our reunion with a bedroom and bathroom each and lots of space to spend time together. The property was well furnished and we appreciated the log fire on a cold evening!
