This is a great base for a cottage holiday in Yorkshire, this area has just about everything. Newmillerdam itself is a splendid little village with a choice of well-respected pubs and cafés to enjoy, as well as being home to the Newmiller Dam Country Park which provides excellent views as well as opportunities to walk and cycle around the lake. Surrounding the village there is something for everybody with a choice of parks, a golf club, watersports centre and some pretty villages and towns to visit.
