The center of Camogli, occupying the valley west of Mount Portofino, overlooks the Gulf of Paradise, at the western end of the Portofino promontory, on the Riviera di Levante, east of Genoa.
Between Camogli and Portofino, in the clear waters of the protected marine area of Portofino, lies the bronze statue of the "Christ of the Abyss" from 1954 at a depth of 17 meters.
The largest part of the Portofino Regional Natural Park, which can be visited, belongs to Camogli, and the defensive Dragonara Castle of Camogli, with a marvelous sea view, should not be missed.
For a spiritual visit, it is impossible not to go to the luminous Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, built in 1826.
