It is named after the Tyrolean freedom fighter Josef Speckbacher (1767–1820), who fought alongside Andreas Hofer.
The center of Mayrhofen can be reached in a few minutes on foot.
Here you will find restaurants with Tyrolean specialties, numerous shopping opportunities, and a variety of leisure and entertainment options.
Due to its quiet location on the edge of the village, the hut offers ideal relaxation and at the same time proximity to all attractions.
Accessible by car all year round, with a parking space directly in front of the hut.
