Carloforte, the only inhabited town on the Island of San Pietro, combines the charm of Sardinia with the Ligurian traditions brought in the 18th century by the Tabarchini fishermen, originally from Liguria and later settled from the Tunisian island of Tabarca. Considered one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy," it retains a picturesque historic center, a lively port, and an authentic atmosphere.
The island offers spectacular beaches and coves such as La Bobba, Cala Fico, and Le Colonne, scenic trails, and the Percorso delle Saline (Salt Pan Trail), ideal for spotting pink flamingos. Highlights include the Torre San Vittorio, the village's alleys and squares, the Giuseppe Cavallera Film Theater, and the Casa del Duca Civic Museum. The local cuisine is famous for its tuna and Tabarchini dishes, celebrated during the Girotonno and the Tabarchino Couscous Festival.
Carloforte is the perfect destination for those seeking crystal-clear waters, culture, history, and authentic flavors.
To easily reach the accommodation and fully enjoy all the area's main attractions, we recommend using a car: you can rent one directly at the airport or in the main surrounding cities.

Eleonora, Sept 2026
Inoltre è in pieno centro.
