Adjoining the family home, the cottage has its own entrance and completely separate outdoor area with a barbecue.
The ground floor comprises a veranda, an open-plan kitchen/living room with a sofa bed and wood-burning stove, a bathroom (showers only), and a toilet.
Upstairs, the landing leads to three bedrooms: two with a queen-size bed (160 cm) and one with two single beds (90 cm). Bed linen is provided and beds are made upon arrival.
The cottage has gas central heating.
Due to the thick walls of the house, internet reception is not good inside. To ensure an environmentally responsible stay, certain specific utilities (e.g., heating, electricity) may be charged at the end of your stay. La Lisonne is a small estate nestled in the lush countryside of the Périgord-Limousin Regional Natural Park, bordering the Dordogne department in its southwest corner.
Hiking trails starting from the gîte allow visitors to explore a landscape of deciduous forests, small meadows, streams, and ponds.
Priscilla, Julien, and their two children live in this little natural paradise.
The road ends at the property.
They are surrounded by dogs, their horse Tanga, chickens, ducks, and pigs.
Six-year-old Louise and ten-year-old Lucas are delighted to share their games: trampoline, swing.
Lucas is already a keen fisherman and will gladly join them for fishing trips at the nearby pond, where it's also a pleasant place to relax while watching the birds and the sunset.
