There are regular ferries to the islands from Stresa. For self-catering, Stresa’s market (Friday mornings) is a treasure trove for the best local produce.
Otherwise, there are many excellent grocery shops and supermarkets close by. Milan’s international Malpensa airport is a 50-minute drive.

The apartment has a great lake view. The area is safe and quiet. An old mule trail goes above the property and is easily reached - so hiking to nearby villages can start from homebase. Very nice area and apartment.

Die Wohnung war sauber und geräumig, der Ausblick auf den See von innen und natürlich auch vom Balkon war genial ! Leider hat man auf dieser Seite so gut wie nie die Sonne. Was uns etwas gefehlt hatte , waren Dinge wie : Geschirrhandtuch nur 1 x, Handtücher nur 2 x , Küchenrollen, Pflegeprodukte wie Duschgel oder Seife.

Das Apartment ist sehr schön eingerichtet und ausgestattet, die Aussicht auf den See traumhaft.
Zwei Verbesserungsvorschläge: Es fehlt eine Garderobe im Eingangsbereich und ein kleiner Mülleimer im Bad.
einziger Kritikpunkt: Leider war das Geschirr, vor allem die Töpfe und Pfannen bei unserer Ank...
