Even closer is Red Hook, with its own community charm.

Enjoy hikes, historical sites, fairgrounds, and farm stands right in the local area. Please note, the fireplaces are not for use. You must drive everywhere.

There isn't really uber or lyft.

Schedule taxi's in advance especially when arriving outside of normal work hours.

We recommend a vehicle with all wheel drive during the winter.

Our can’t-miss favorite restaurants include aroi Thai restaurant in Rhinebeck, Le Canard Enchaine for incredible French cuisine, the Bartlett House, a cafe and bakery in Ghent, NY, and Gaskins, a romantic date-night restaurant.
