Nordhorn – Water City in the Green
Nordhorn is located in beautiful Lower Saxony and is affectionately known as the Water City – and for good reason: the Vechte river flows through the city, feeding numerous canals and waterways, giving the city its very special character. The city center itself is situated on an island and is completely surrounded by water – ideal for exciting boat or bike tours in a relaxed atmosphere.
Whether along the idyllic riverside paths, through green parks, or right through the city center – Nordhorn is wonderfully suited for active exploration. Cyclists and walkers, in particular, enjoy the well-developed paths directly by the water.
Culturally, the city has a lot to offer: the city museum with its three locations, the popular shipping museum, and many other attractions make Nordhorn a versatile destination for excursions.
Our House Dock 61 is quietly yet centrally located in the modern Seepark Nordhorn – an area that uniquely combines nature, water, and modern architecture. From here, you can reach the charming city center in just a few minutes – on foot, by bike, or even by boat.
Thanks to its convenient location, day trips to the Netherlands, just about five kilometers away, are also possible at any time. Whether for shopping, nature, or culture – Dock 61 is the perfect starting point for your discoveries around Nordhorn.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus. Gut eingerichtet.
