Activating and deactivating air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (Presidential Decree 16/04/2013 no. 74).

In summer, the average air temperature must not be lower than 26°C for all types of buildings.

In winter, the weighted average air temperature must not exceed 20°C.
