Our vacation home, spanning approximately 140 square meters over three floors, can accommodate up to 7 people.
Old beams, stone slabs, and cobblestones are present throughout.
The cozy living room with an integrated dining area, television, and small library invites you to relax.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator with an integrated freezer compartment, stove with oven, coffee machine, toaster, and kettle.
In the basement, with a separate entrance, you will find a single room with an adjacent bathroom and toilet.
The ground floor features the entrance area, living room, kitchen, and a double room with a box-spring bed and an en-suite bathroom.
One floor up, there is a double room with a box-spring bed and a balcony; across the hall, there is also a double room with a box-spring bed.
A shared bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and toilet is available for both of these rooms.
A grill, garden furniture, Wi-Fi, and a parking space are also provided. The vacation home "Rhönmantisch – Country Life and Silence" invites you to slow down.
Enjoy views of the Simmelsberg, Rodenbacher Köpfchen, or the Nalle, whether from a window, the balcony, or the terrace in the garden.
In addition to peace and idyll, you have short distances to neighboring towns such as Gersfeld, Bischofsheim, or Fulda.
The associated farmhouse garden features roses, lavender, hydrangeas, elderberry bushes, and herbs.
You will also find countless paintings by the grandfather Arno in the house; this pleases the homeowner, who thus makes his beloved grandfather Arno ever-present.
If you are lucky, you will have many neighbors: sheep and goats belonging to the local shepherd Klaus Keidel. In Gersfeld, there is a swimming pool, and the Guckaisee lake is a 5-minute drive away.
The surrounding area offers numerous excursion possibilities.
These include the Wasserkuppe, the Kreuzberg, the city of Fulda with all its sights, nearby riding stables, paragliding or hang gliding on the Wasserkuppe, the highest mountain in the Rhön region and in Hesse.
A playground is 2 minutes from the vacation home.
In countless restaurants nearby, you can enjoy Rhön delicacies or international cuisine.
Typical Rhön products can also be purchased at the Rhöner Bauernladen, a 5-minute drive away.

Die geschmackvolle Ausstattung aller Räume und die sehr ruhige Lage. Auch das Grundstück und der schöne Garten haben uns beeindruckt.
Als Anregung könnte in den Badezimmern etwas mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten und Kleider- und Handtuchhaken angebracht werden.

Auch wenn die Deckenhöhe teilweise etwas niedrig ist, wirkt es durch die Gestaltung und Einrichtung unglaublich hell und offen. Mülltrennung wäre gut, da mit 7 Personen schon viel Müll anfällt.
