Holiday at the Gastein Farmhouse
Have you ever stepped into a 150-year-old farmhouse where life unfolds? The open kitchen with a cozy seating area has always been the heart of the holiday home.
Everyone gathers for "a hearty snack," briefly forgetting about work in the stable and the field.
The old farmers had this so-called "work-life balance" in their blood.
A rustic joke was a constant companion. Your Time in the Historic Farmhouse The spirit, the well-being of a lively farmhouse, is present in this holiday home in Gastein.
In a central location on the village road and directly on the Gasteiner Ache, this holiday home, a former farm, can look back on a vibrant history.
The owners have carefully maintained their parental home, carrying out successive renovations. Wood paneling Furniture made of Swiss pine Cooking and heating are done on the original old wood-burning stove. Swiss pine is known for supporting health.
The crackling of the wood on cool evenings has a relaxing effect and creates a contemplative atmosphere. Your Summer in the Mountains With peaks exceeding the three-thousand-meter mark and reaching into the glacier zone of the Hohe Tauern, Bad Gastein is not only the Monte Carlo of the Alps but also a paradise for sports enthusiasts.
In the southernmost village of the Gastein Valley, you'll find the Stubnerkogel.
Just a stone's throw from Bad Gastein train station is the valley station of the Stubnerkogelbahn.
At an altitude of nearly 2,200 meters, you'll find not only a breathtaking view but also many other attractions! Your Winter Holiday Lasts a Little Longer Here When spring gradually arrives in the valley, the Sportgastein ski area scores points with its high altitude and natural snow.
This also makes it one of the freeride hotspots in the Alps. Note: Horses spend the winter in the stable next door. Tip: The Alpentherme is located in the center of Bad Hofgastein.

Very good
