Casa Dorothea 1 located on the hill side of Positano with magnificent sea view and the town below, private outdoor area and shared swimming pool
Casa Dorothea 1 is located in a private residence together with other apartments on the hillside of Positano, a short drive from the town center.
The residence is provided with shared pool and there is also parking space (free for 1 car per unit).
To reach the house you have to walk along around 100 steps, which is not unusual in Positano, but it’s worth it!
The house has 3 double bedrooms, all with air-conditioning; two bathrooms (with shower) and it can accommodate 6 people (plus one in a sofa bed). Outside there is a large terrace from where you can enjoy an amazing view of the sea and the mountains around. The terrace is partially covered by a bamboo pergola where guests can have alfresco dinners or lunches.
There is a table with chairs, sunbed, a porch swing and a grill.
Furthermore through few steps you reach a cozy garden equipped with round tables and some chairs where you can have breakfast or a drink enjoying a beautiful sea-view.
Finally there is also a shower outside to refresh while sunbathing.
From the terrace you enter the living/dining room (with air-conditioning). In the living room there are two couches (one is a sofa bed to accommodate one more guest), a dining table chairs, TV and stereo.
In the same area there is a fully equipped kitchen, provided with oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster and kettle).
Going ahead you will get to the 3 double bedrooms, all with air-conditioning. The first one is located on the left of the living room and from the bed you can glimpse the blue sea.
The second bedroom has got en suite bathroom (with shower) and finally there is a third bedroom. These two share one bathroom with shower.
Casa Dorothea 1 comes complete with Wi-Fi, bed linens, bath towels, washer and it is provided also with heating for the winter months.

Positano is a village on the Amalfi coast. It is a very popular tourist destination with pebble beaches and narrow and steep streets full of shops and cafes. The Church of Santa Maria Assunta has a majolica dome and a Byzantine icon of the 13th century Virgin Mary. The Sentiero degli Dei hiking trail connects Positano to other coastal towns. A must see!

Rental Rules:
Minimum stay 5 nights.
A cash refundable deposit of 500 Euros is required upon arrival and will be returned at time of departure after an inspection will take place in case of any damage.
Check-In time is from 15:00, Check-Out time is by 10:00 AM.
After 20:00 a fee of € 50 will be applied for the late check-in
OPENING SHARED SWIMMING POOL from 15 May to 15 October.
Note: The swimming pool regulations require you to wear swim caps. In the house you will find some, if necessary, others can be purchased at the residence concierge.
Important note: We do recommend to respect separate waste collection and to throw rubbish in the bins located in the parking area as per the instructions provided at check-in. If this rule is not respected, penalties may be applied.
Extra cost to paid on site:
Final cleaning 150 Euros.
City tax: from 1st April to 31st October € 2,50 per person (from 10 years onwards) per day.

The view is incredible. Owner and property manager were great, lots of communication. They also helped answer questions about the area, transportation, and restaurants.

The view was stunning
I love the place and location and also the villa was absolutly clean. One thing really put off me was, the person who suppose to welcome us, asked £150 for final cleaning which it wasn't normal for us.

Great Place in beautiful Positano!
Great Place in beautiful Positano! Spacious enough for 6 people! It was easy to find, clean and had most of the equipment you need. It is a bit further from the "centrum" than we thought but the location is definately worth it!
