Welcome to our Canterbury home! This charming two-bedroom house near the city centre sleeps up to four guests. With a cosy living room, modern bathroom, and well-equipped kitchen, it’s perfect for families. Enjoy the sunny private garden and nearby attractions like Canterbury Cathedral and the King’s Mile. Free street parking and a peaceful neighbourhood make it a great base for your stay. Pets welcome!
This has been our family home when we lived here in the 90s, and has recently been renovated to suit the needs of our guests. This house is full of love, character and comfort.
You'll find thoughtful amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, updated heating, smart TV, hair dryer, iron, and essential safety features. The kitchen is fully stocked with a kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, gas-hob, fridge, freezer and washing machine. For relaxing days in, you can enjoy a curated DVD library, classic books, and board games. Outdoors, the property boasts a very large back garden and patio featuring tables and chairs, a lovingly tended lawn and during summer, fruiting plum and apple trees! This property also comes equipped with all the linen, towels, toiletries and cleaning products you may need. This adorable home has been designed with our guests in mind so that you have everything you need to relax and enjoy a comfortable self-catered stay in the beautiful city of Canterbury.
We operate a voucher-based parking system. To book a space, please share your full name and registered vehicle number in advance. Parking is chargeable at £6 per day (24 hours) registration with us you are able to park on Notley Street and anywhere within the ‘St Gregory’s’ zone.

This property comes equipped with the following:
2 washing machine tablets, 1 washing up liquid, 1 Antibacterial spray, 1 Kitchen roll, enough toilet roll for at least 2-3 days, 2 black bin liners, 2 white bin liners.
We also provide all bed linen, bath and hand towels and toiletries for guests.
Please note that a neighbouring property has a right of access to cross the garden when required. This access is only used occasionally, but guests may see a neighbour passing through the garden from time to time. We wanted to make guests aware of this in advance.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.

Loved the nice soap/shower gel dispensers everywhere and the encouragement to recycle and use the food-waste caddy. The only thing that would have helped is a hand rail on the stairs - a couple of us were not 100% mobile and I was a bit concerned for their safety coming down the stairs without a hand rail. They actually managed fine and weren’t worried. Thanks for a lovely weekend!
