At the edge of charming Ooltgensplaat, surrounded by vast polders and glistening water, a world of peace, space and discovery begins. Goeree-Overflakkee welcomes you with open arms and a horizon that never ends. Here you breathe in fresh air, hear only birds and wind, and immediately feel: this is getting away from it all.

With the Volkerak within walking distance, you can experience something new every day. Floating in the sun, supping over mirror-smooth water or fishing from the shore - the water always beckons. On warm days, Recreation Area Hellegatsplein, also known as 'De Banaan', is the place to relax. With its fine swimming water and natural beach, it feels like a hidden holiday spot where you forget about time.

Anyone who enjoys cycling or walking will soon discover how varied Goeree-Overflakkee is. Dykes lead you past waving grass, quiet villages and colourful fields. And then suddenly, a wide view over Lake Grevelingen. The Grevelingendam is a lively beach where water sports enthusiasts can indulge themselves. Or stroll through the narrow streets of fortified Willemstad, where history is palpable between the old city walls and lively pavement cafés. For those who love character and charm, Zierikzee is a gem: monumental and cosy in one.

And then there is Rotterdam, surprisingly close by. After a day of architecture, culture and culinary indulgence, you return to the tranquillity of the island. The contrast only makes the experience richer.

Because of the peace and quiet and possible neighbours, noise nuisance is not allowed/prohibited in this holiday home.
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house.
