You can enjoy hiking routes, visit Peña Trevinca (the highest mountain in Galicia), El Teixadal (one of the largest and most important yew forests in Europe), or the old Valborraz mine, used during World War II for wolfram extraction.
The village is quiet and offers a free pool, playground, and a canteen where you can enjoy homemade food and a great atmosphere.
You can also visit O Barco de Valdeorras, about 24 km away, and Las Médulas, about 35 km away, an ancient Roman gold mine. Free parking is available on the street. One pet is allowed upon previous request. Smoking is not permitted. Parties and celebrating events of any kind are not allowed. This property features energy-saving lighting.
