Stay between the sea and the maquis
Discover Signura, a charming house located just a stone’s throw from the white-sand beach of Arone, recognised as one of the most beautiful beaches in France.
The name Signura comes from the language of Corsican fishermen: it refers to an “amer,” a visual landmark formed by the triangulation of three points along the coast, indicating a secret spot rich in marine life—a truly prime fishing spot.
Coming from a family of fishermen from Ficaghjola Beach in Piana, we chose this name because Signura perfectly embodies the harmony between the beach, the sea, and the maquis.
It’s no coincidence—our ancestors named the area where the house stands “Armonio”!
Ideal for a holiday with family or friends, the house is nestled in the heart of the maquis, facing the sea, offering a magnificent sunset every evening—a hallmark of beautiful summer nights.
Accommodations
The house features a bright living area with a fireplace, combining a living room and an open kitchen with a large, inviting dining table. This room opens onto a terrace with a breathtaking view of the garden and the sea. The floor-to-ceiling windows are equipped with roller shutters.
The kitchen, bathed in natural light, is equipped with appliances we particularly appreciate for their design, quality, and practicality: a Nespresso machine, a refrigerator, and a Smeg range. You’ll find everything you need to prepare delicious meals with Mediterranean flavours.
The room is also air-conditioned for your comfort.
This floor also features a shower room and a separate bathroom.
As you head up to the mezzanine, you’ll discover a children’s bedroom decorated in soft shades of almond green, featuring a reading nook and two single beds (90 cm).
On the lower floor, two thoughtfully decorated bedrooms await you. Each features a walk-in closet, a double bed (160 cm), a private terrace, and a view of the garden. These rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with shutters and blackout curtains for peaceful mornings.
The exterior
The terrace, perfect for enjoying the outdoors, is equipped with a barbecue, two lounge chairs, and a large table for your outdoor meals.
The house is set on 4,000 m² of private land, in perfect harmony with the surrounding maquis, where wild olive trees, immortelle, arbutus, grapevines, and prickly pear cacti have been carefully tended for decades.

Just a few minutes away are the restaurants on Arone Beach, and a few kilometres away is the village of Piana—ranked among the most beautiful villages in France—with its famous calanques, charming restaurants, and boat tours in an exceptional UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Gulf of Porto and the Scandola Nature Reserve.

Maison de vacances, comme suspendue, dans les nuages de par la vue et dans le temps tellement la vue est magnifique. Tres bel accueil.Le village de Piana a proximité permet de passer de très belles soirées. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir

Une maison tout confort, bien équipée et climatisée, avec une vue magnifique. Seuls bémols : - absence de point d'eau et wc au niveau des 2 chambres du bas - et les sorties voiture de part et d'autre du jardin, directement sur la D824, sont très pentues et sans grande visibilité sur la route.Merci encore à François René pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.
