Our cleaning team is following strict CDC guidelines on sanitizing and disinfecting between stays so you can rest assured you will have a clean, worry-free stay. - Please note that the staircase to the loft is steep and has a railing on only one side. - Civilized, well-mannered (and pampered) pups are welcome at the Lazy A-Frame.
Keep in mind that we are nestled in the forest among other furry (less tame) creatures.
All furry friends must be leashed at all times (no exceptions) and picked up after to keep the wild animals off our property.
We allow a maximum of TWO well-mannered dogs for an additional pet fee. - Please note that we have a security Nest door camera next to the front door. -Access to the cabin is from a private dirt road (not maintained by the city). During winter months it is advised to park legally on the main street and walk to the cabin. - Don't forget you are in stargazing territory.
We recommend downloading an app, sitting in the hot tub or on the back deck at night, and enjoying the constellations. The Lazy-A is perfect for a quiet secluded stay surrounded by nature, yet it is just a short 10 min drive to Idyllwild village, dining, shopping, entertainment, and all major hiking trails.
We provide a parking Adventure pass to our guests.
Don't pass up your chance to rest and recharge at our peaceful and private forest escape! Pine Cove is just a 5 to 7 minute (3.4 mi.) drive away from Idyllwild village via adjacent Hwy 243. Just a short drive or walk up Marion Ridge Dr. visitors will find Pine Cove Park which has walking trails and offers beautiful territorial views. You can also visit Thousand Trails where you have access to Pine Cone Cafe or buy a day pass to enjoy all of their amenities. Nearby, at the intersection of Hwy 243 and Pine Cove Drive is The Pine Cove Store, gas station and laundromat.

The place was great. Very comfortable and well outfitted. It's in a neighborhood, down a short dirt road, no driveway, you will need to park on the street and leave room for neighbor to get to their driveway gate. There are stairs down to the door (not wheelchair accessible). Not a big deal, just a note if you're bringing a lot of stuff or more than 1 car it will be tight.

Adorable cabin! Perfect for a weekend getaway! A few minor things - trouble with the Keurig machine. Previous tenant left a mess in the Traeger machine, so we did our best to clean up. Josh was responsive, however, did take a bit of time to respond. Overall, such a cute cabin and would recommend!

We traveled with our newborn twins and felt right at home. The cabin was comfortable, the amenities were stellar and the view was spectacular. We did a lot of cooking and utilized the grill and kitchen with ease. We also has some cozy nights and the loft was big enough for two travel cribs so we could all be together. Would definitely stay again and look forward to it!
