The kitchen is perfect for preparing home-cooked meals as it has an electric oven and a gas hob to assist you. The sitting area, complete with comfortable seating, is the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring, perhaps with a good book or a favourite television programme on the TV with Freeview.

Figgy Cottage, an annex consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with electric oven, gas hob, microwave fridge (with ice box). For entertainment there is a TV with Freeview and a selection of books. The bedroom is a double. There is a ground-floor shower room with walk-in shower and basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included in the rent. Sorry, no smoking. One small well-behaved pet accepted, please contact owner to discuss pet arrangements. Guests are asked to keep their dogs off the furniture. Please note: This property does not accept changeovers on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time. Return year after year to Figgy Cottage. Please note: The shower room has a compact layout, and access to the toilet requires the door to be mostly closed, this space may not be ideal for guests who require extra room or assistance when using the bathroom. Please note: The upstairs bedroom has full ceiling height in the center, with gentle slopes at the sides that add character to the room. Just take a little care near the edges to avoid any bumps. Please note: Soft furnishings and decorative touches may vary slightly from those shown in the photos due to internal renovations, but the overall style and comfort remain the same. This property does not accept same day arrivals on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays during term time, though you may depart on one of these days. Please advise owners of pet numbers before arrival.

Figgy cottage is perfect for a short break. It is centrally located in the small and lovely city of Ripon. The cottage was clean and has all the facilities needed to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The owners were very friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We would recommend Figgy Cottage to everyone!

Very warm welcome from the owners. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Well thought out storage space, little things like coat hooks and shoe racks make a difference (have stayed in bigger properties lacking these). Very handy for Ripon (10 minute walk into the centre). Everything provided for an enjoyable stay. Had a great stay.

Figgy cottage was ideal for the two of us on our short break to the Dales. Not far from the very impressive and atmospheric Fountains Abbey. Harrogate again only a short drive away well worth a visit. A five minute stroll leads to Storehouse Kitchen and North Street Fisheries both of which we would recommend highly.
