The apartment is approximately 85 m² and consists of a kitchen, living/dining room, bedroom, bathroom, and a separate toilet.
The apartment also includes a terrace of about 20 m².
The apartment was occupied by us until recently.
We used a lot of wood in the past; the bathroom and the separate toilet were completely renovated eight years ago.
The apartment can accommodate 2-4 people.
There is one bedroom, and in the living room, in addition to the seating area, there is a sofa bed.
A soapstone stove has recently been installed.
Here, you can watch the crackling fire in the evenings if you wish.
The stated prices include all ancillary costs such as water, electricity, and final cleaning.
In many cases, a different arrival and departure time than indicated is possible.
The apartment is located in a stone masonry building over 200 years old, with walls 80-90 cm thick.
Internally, the building was renovated and expanded 70, 40, and most recently in the last year.
There is ample parking space on and around our property.
Bicycles can be safely stored.
We have named our apartment "Biebes" – which means butterfly.
The butterfly is the symbol of our village, and with this name, we express our connection to our hometown.
A large garden belongs to the house, which our guests can also use.
We maintain our property but also allow nature to take its course in some areas, so in the summer, we encounter a variety of real butterflies.
In autumn, a pair of squirrels collects the nuts.
There are also "robbers" at our house, as one or two pairs of magpies always nest in the large beech trees in the garden.
Final cleaning is included in the price.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
A garage can be rented for an additional charge of €10 per day.
As of 01/01/26, a tourist tax of €2.50 per night per person will apply.
Arrival from the direction of Aachen: Take the Lichtenbusch exit immediately before the Belgian border towards Monschau.
Follow the B258 initially towards Monschau, then later towards Koblenz/Trier until Monschau Höfen.
Turn left here into Triftstraße until house number 49 (large cross in front of the house).
Arrival from the direction of Euskirchen: Take the Wisskirchen exit, then follow the B266 towards Schleiden/Gemünd.
Continue in Gemünd towards Simmerath until Herhahn-Morsbach.
Here, take the L207 towards Aachen/Monschau, later the B258 towards Aachen/Monschau.
Before the village of Monschau-Höfen, turn right towards Rohren, and after 300 meters, turn left into Triftstraße.
Follow Triftstraße for 1 km until house number 49 (large cross in front of the house).
Check-in: 2 PM or by arrangement.
Check-out: 10 AM.
