Limni is a picturesque seaside village that offers a perfect mix of tranquility, tradition, and access to nature. Just a short drive from the apartment—approximately 1.7 km—is Kioski Beach, a peaceful and easily accessible spot for a swim. Slightly further, at 1.8 km, lies Kochyli Beach, a small and inviting cove ideal for swimming and relaxing by the water. For those wanting to explore more of the coastline, Chronia Beach is located about 4.5 km away, and the scenic beaches of Rovies are approximately 12 km from the property, each offering unique landscapes and crystal-clear waters.
The village itself is home to several points of interest. Within walking distance—about 300 m—is the Limni Folk Museum, which gives insight into the area’s cultural heritage. A few kilometers outside the village, around 9 km away, lies the historic Monastery of Saint Nicholas Galataki, perched dramatically on a cliff overlooking the sea. Further inland, visitors can explore forest paths leading to the beautiful Drymonas Waterfalls, located about 34 km from the apartment. For a more therapeutic experience, the thermal springs of Loutra Edipsou are roughly 28 km away and well worth a visit.
Limni is most conveniently reached by car, located approximately 175 kilometers from Athens International Airport, with a driving time of about two and a half to three hours. The route from Athens passes through Chalkida, the capital of Evia, and continues north toward Limni along scenic mountain and coastal roads. From Chalkida, the drive takes roughly one hour and forty minutes.
Public transportation is also available. Intercity KTEL buses operate routes from Athens to Chalkida, where you can transfer to a regional bus heading toward Limni. Taxis are accessible at major stops such as Chalkida or Loutra Edipsou, offering flexible travel options for those without a car.
