The countryside at the gates of the city! That's the promise of this lovely, tastefully renovated stone cottage. The house is spread over several small levels: from the entrance hall, you'll access the living room (via three steps) and the sleeping area located on the same level. You'll need to go down three more steps to reach the kitchen-dining room. The living room is fully equipped with a corner sofa, a television, and a wood-burning stove. Two of the bedrooms have a 140x190 cm bed. Also at your disposal is a bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and double sink, as well as a separate toilet. Finally, upstairs, you'll find the third attic bedroom with two 90x190 cm beds. From the fully equipped kitchen and the dining room area, you will have access to the terrace overlooking the garden of more than 3000m² and the private heated swimming pool of 11x3m, 1.5m deep, with salt water, open from June to the end of September, secured by a roller shutter. In the heart of the Isle Valley, the cottage is ideally located for exploring the entire department. You'll be equidistant (45 minutes) from the Bergerac region (vineyards, fortified towns), the Vézère Valley (caves, troglodyte sites, chasm), and the lovely walks of the Périgord Vert, and an hour from Sarlat and the sites of the Dordogne Valley (castles, gardens). Don't miss Brantôme, which is 30 minutes away!
Don't hesitate to use the Campniac ferry, a fun way to cross the river to walk to the historic center of Périgueux, and explore the imposing Gallo-Roman remains, the medieval old town, and the majestic Saint-Front Cathedral. As for gastronomy, the town is full of good restaurants serving Périgord classics, and its Wednesday and Saturday markets are very popular with locals and visitors alike!
You can also walk or cycle along the "greenway" along the Isle River.

Gîte décoré avec beaucoup de goût.Très confortable,la piscine a l eau salée est une bonne découverte. Nous recommanderons sans hésiter. Cette partie du perigord est à découvrir,nous avons beaucoup aimé Périgueux et merci pour l accueil des propriétaires et a Nadine (elle se reconnaîtra)

Un gîte extraordinaire, tout confort, des propriétaires au top et une belle vue sur Périgueux !! Endroit reposant, calme, idéal pour se ressourcer !! maison très bien équipée et située ( à la campagne mais à moins de 15 minutes à pied du centre de Périgueux). Rien ne manque pour passer de bonnes vacances.
