The Church of Santa Maria del Sasso (a 4-minute drive) is a peaceful hilltop sanctuary offering panoramic views, beautiful frescoes, and a serene atmosphere perfect for quiet reflection.
Scherrer Park (a 3-minute drive) is dotted with lemon trees, bamboo groves and statues inspired by classical myths in the grounds of a hillside villa; it feels like a walk in paradise. The village of Vico Morcote (11 minutes) is equally stunning, set on the hillside above the lake and surrounded by vineyards.
Vico Morcote is packed with beautiful Mediterranean architecture and has a different feel from Morcote.
Being higher on the hill, Vico Morcote has some of the best views around, and as you explore, you will stumble upon Swiss heritage sites, parks and other treasures.

Die Espressomaschine hatte einen deutschen Stecker und konnte daher nicht in Betrieb genommen werden.Ich musste einen Stecker vom Verlängerungskabel abmontieren.Ebenfalls waren die Temperaturen im Tessin mit 10 C für die Jahreszeit ungewöhnlich niedrig und es regnete.
