Welcome to The Shack, a charming one-bedroom hideaway perched above the bustling town of Fort William, offering breathtaking views over Loch Linnhe.
Perfect for couples or solo travellers, this peaceful retreat is ideal for those looking to relax, explore the Highlands, and enjoy a home-away-from-home experience. Inside, you`ll find an open-plan living space with a well-equipped kitchen featuring a fridge, freezer, air fryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a 2-ring hob – everything you need to prepare a hearty meal after a day of adventure.
There`s also a washing machine for your convenience. The cosy lounge area includes a Smart TV and DVD player, perfect for unwinding in the evenings while soaking up the scenic views.
Electric heating throughout ensures you stay comfortable whatever the season. The bedroom includes a comfy double bed, bedside cabinets, a dressing table, and hanging space for your clothes.
The bathroom features an electric shower with a step-in cubicle. Pet-friendly, The Shack welcomes your four-legged friends, and there`s a designated private parking space right outside for easy access.
Infants are welcome too – just bring along your own travel cot. The Shack is tucked away in a quiet, elevated spot above Fort William, offering guests the best of both worlds – peaceful surroundings with panoramic views over Loch Linnhe, while still being just a short stroll from the heart of town.
You’re still within walking distance of the town centre, shops, restaurants, and travel links, making this a perfect base for exploring Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis, and the wider Highlands. Known as the Outdoor Capital of the UK, Fort William is the gateway to the Highlands and a hub for walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers.
From your doorstep, enjoy easy access to scenic walking routes, including the start of the Ben Nevis trail, or take a relaxing lochside stroll into town. The local area is packed with cosy cafés, traditional pubs, independent shops, and excellent restaurants.
Fort William`s train and bus stations are also within walking distance, making travel easy whether you`re heading out on the Jacobite Steam Train (a must for Harry Potter fans!) or exploring further afield. We’re delighted to welcome dogs to the property.
If you are travelling with a dog, please make sure you let us know in advance.
A £25 pet fee per stay applies, which is not included in the reservation total.
This additional charge is payable directly to the West Holidays team via a secure payment link once your booking has been confirmed. No smoking or events/parties.
