This modern apartment for a maximum of 5 people is located on the first floor of a holiday home, directly on the Weissensee in the southwest of Carinthia and between the well-known ski areas of Nassfeld and Goldeck.
The apartment has a large living room with sofa bed and dining table, 2 spacious bedrooms, a modern fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with washing machine and separate toilet and a garden (shared with other guests). From the very spacious terrace you have a fantastic view of the Weissensee. You can park directly at the holiday home.
The Weissensee and nature park at the foot of the Gailtal Alps is 11.6 km long, lies in the middle of a large landscape and nature area and is considered one of the most beautiful and cleanest lakes in Europe. Whether mountain biking and alpine hiking in summer or ice and cross-country skiing in winter, the Weissensee offers many opportunities for sporty holidaymakers. On the eastern shore of the Weissensee is the lido of the municipality of Stockenboi. In winter, Weissensee is the largest ice skating area in Central Europe, also known for the alternative "Elfstedentocht", an ice skating marathon run by the Dutch.
Weissensee in southern Carinthia and the surrounding area offers 5 ski areas: the Nassfeld ski area with 110 km of slopes and 30 lifts, the Naggler Alm - Techendorf - Weissensee family ski area in the southwest of Weissensee with 6 km of slopes, the Goldeck ski area in the Gailtal Alps with 25 km of slopes and 2 smaller ski areas Weissbriach in the Gitschtal with 5 km of slopes and Kötschach-Mauthen-Vorhegg at the transition between the Gailtal and Lesachtal with 6 km of slopes.
Directly in Weissensee, in Techendorf or in Hermagor there are sufficient shops for daily needs as well as a good selection of restaurants.
