Hiker's hut
A hiker's hut (approx. 8 square metres) offers space for two people; bed linen is provided. The hut is also a great weatherproof accommodation if you don't have a tent. And if necessary, you can also borrow a cot from us (or bring one with you) and put it inside. Travelling on foot along the Saar-Hunsrücksteig and travelling light? No problem: Our ten hikers' cabins are equipped for this.
There is no bathroom, you can use the campsite's sanitary facilities.
Bed linen is provided.

Camping in Losheim am See - nature, adventure & relaxation
Welcome to our campsite in Losheim am See! Since 2021, we have been transforming the traditional site into a modern outdoor paradise for nature lovers, families and active holidaymakers.
Top location in the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park
Our 10-hectare campsite is located directly on Lake Losheim - perfect for swimming, sailing and stand-up paddling. The famous Saar-Hunsrück-Steig, one of the best hiking trails in Germany, runs right next door. Numerous dream loops also start here, inviting you to go on extensive hiking and biking tours.
Perfect starting point for excursions
From here you can reach numerous sights in no time at all:
- Saarschleife - 25 minutes
- Trier or Völklinger Hütte (UNESCO) - 30 minutes
- Celtic Ring Otzenhausen - 45 minutes
- Metz (France) & Luxembourg - 1 hour
- Geierlay suspension bridge - 90 minutes
- Nancy (UNESCO) - 1:45 hours
Modern facilities & glamping experience
By summer 2022, we will have created over 400 pitches for tourists and will continue to offer 150 pitches for permanent campers. Our highlight: Glamping with Domo Camp & Tiny Houses!
