The apartment is located in a district of Neustrelitz, about 6 km from the city limits. Neustrelitz, with a population of around 21,000, is a state-approved resort town and very popular with holidaymakers due to its star-shaped town layout from the late Baroque period and the grand ducal symbol of the Strelitzia flower.

When the weather is nice, the harbor, the palace gardens and the palace garden festival are recommended. You can also take a steamboat trip on one of the town's lakes. Neustrelitz also offers variety on less sunny days with its theaters, cinemas, museums and restaurants.

Neubrandenburg with its 65 thousand inhabitants and interesting city walls is also worth a visit. Other towns such as Waren/Müritz/Kurstadt, Röbel/Müritz/Hafenstadt, Malchow/Inselstadt, Feldberg/Naturregion and Wesenberg/Burg follow. All of them can be reached by car in about 10-45 minutes on average.

Children up to the age of 12 can sleep in the bedroom in the attic by prior arrangement. A crib is available for small children.
