This history is also magnified by authentic traditional festivals, celebrating both the old-fashioned horse-drawn carts of the past and trades that have now been forgotten, in an “old-fashioned” way. There are over thirty days of festivities in the summer months alone! Halfway between Saint-Rémy and Avignon, Châteaurenard is close to major tourist attractions, but has retained all the friendliness and tranquility of a small Provencal town. That's why Châteaurenard is an ideal vacation spot in the heart of Provence.
