Carelian Pearl is a beautiful and stylish 160m2 house that comfortably accommodates 5 people (+ 3 for an additional fee). It provides a cozy setting for vacationers and commuters alike. All surfaces of the house have been carefully renovated and of high quality. The house has four bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a dining area, and a wood-burning sauna as a specialty. There is a large and flat yard area around the house. The location is peaceful, but still within walking distance of local services like shops and restaurants.

As the house so is the sauna a pearl to remember. The renovated sauna offers tasty steam in a peaceful environment - albeit within walking distance of the services. After bathing in this wood-burning sauna you can relax on the silent yard, breath fresh air and just enjoy. Guess how sweetly you'll sleep afterwards...

The yard is large and flat. Nice for kids to play and pets to run. Only 500m to public beach by the Ilomantsi lake and swimming hall; just two minutes walk.

The Carelian Pearl is in the east
The easternmost point of Finland, and the entire continental EU, is located on Lake Virmajärvi in ​​Ilomantsi, 68 kilometers east of the center of St. Petersburg. You can visit the Itäpiste viewing point without a border zone permit. The route from the vehicle parking and turning area to the shore of Lake Virmajärvi to the Rotary pole is marked and isolated with a rope. A border zone runs outside the isolated area. Do not deviate from the isolated route. Come and feel the excitement!

When renting the whole house, all facilities are for your private use. There are no other residents in the house then.
