There are also many beautiful and interesting things to experience in the Ribnitz-Damgarten area. The Ribnitz upland moor, which is just a 15-minute drive from the houseboat, can be explored on your own or on a two-hour guided moorland hike. It is also celebrated annually with the moor festival at the beginning of September.
In the Rhododendron Park, which is located in the neighboring village of Graal-Müritz, you can see 60 different species of rhododendron and a total of 2,500 specimens in full bloom.
Every year in May, a rhododendron festival is held here to celebrate this rare natural spectacle. There are also several towns worth visiting in the surrounding area.
These include the Hanseatic city of Rostock and Stralsund, with its harbors and many restaurants, shopping opportunities and leisure activities.

Die Lage, der Platz im Hausbot,
Die Gardinie war nur zur Hälfte angebracht und nicht alle Haken in der Schiene und das Fliegengitter hatte ein großes Loch an der Terrassentür.
