For up to 4 guests, your 2 bedroom apartment of 95 sqm is located at garden level with delightful views south towards the Sainte-Victoire mountain and east towards the Alpilles. Your apartment has a spacious private terrace for alfresco dining & BBQ. The first bedroom has a 160cm Queen bed with open-plan ensuite shower room. The second bedroom has two single beds of 90cm each. There is an adjacent shower room for the second bedroom. Both shower rooms have shower, vanity unit, illuminated mirror & wall mounted WC. The bedrooms & living areas are tastefully furnished in a Provençale style. There is an open plan living, dining & kitchen with 2 sets of sliding glass doors onto your private terrace. The kitchen includes an American refrigerator, 4-plate induction hob, integrated oven & microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster as well as a wide range of cooking utensils, crockery, glassware & cutlery. An oasis of calm, your apartment is conveniently located to all the attractions of South Luberon – only 4km to Lourmarin, 2km to Cucuron & 4km to Ansouis with many walking/cycling trails originating from the village. Vaugines was made famous by the movies ‘Manon des Sources’ & ‘Jean de Florette’ - you too can rest on the stone bench outside our 11th century Church or wander around the Cucuron pond which featured in the movie ‘A Good Year.’
There is ample private parking onsite as well as access to our shared gardens and heated swimming pool. With its own entrance, your apartment has a private terrace accessed from the living area. An épicerie/boulangerie, Café de la Fontaine & Insitio Restaurant are a short stroll from your apartment.
There are many larger towns & cities to visit within easy reach of La Réserve Provence, including Aix en Provence, Marseille, Avignon, Arles as well as the other well known Luberon villages of Gordes, Isle sur La Sorgue, Rousillon, Ménerbes & Bonnieux. The coast & beaches are less than 1 hour by car and we are 50 minutes from Marseille Airport & 45 minutes from the TGV station.
