Nueva is a very busy village in summer, with a main street where we find food shops, bars, cider shops, bakery, pharmacy, tobacconist...

On Saturday mornings there is a traditional market with food, clothes and craft stalls.

Throughout the summer there are several festivals of cultural and ethnographic interest.

In Nueva you will find several gastronomic options to taste the traditional cuisine.

It is a village with a lot of atmosphere in summer, on the way to Santiago de Compostela and with several beaches nearby. Access to the motorway in a couple of minutes.

You can make short trips of less than an hour to the coast of Llanes and Ribadesella, as well as to its inland villages, and visit its towns or visit places of interest such as Lagos and the Royal Site of Covadonga, Cabrales, the Picos de Europa Park, Oviedo, Gijón and Aviles, all within an hour's drive.

It is advisable to arrive by car, although in Nueva there is a FEVE train station and a bus stop with connections to Oviedo/Gijón/Santander in Llanes and Ribadesella. It is possible to hire cars and bicycles, please consult before arrival.
