Well-fortified, you can explore the surroundings and discover the highlights of the region: Geiseltalsee Lake: Enjoy the circular path, take a break with a view of the vineyards, and refuel at Marina Mücheln. Beach at Geiseltalsee Lake: Relax and swim all day or take advantage of the sports activities. Wine town of Freyburg and Naumburg: Explore the historic old towns and the world-famous Naumburg Cathedral, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Saale-Unstrut. Out and about in the vineyards: Take walks below the vineyards and stop by cozy estate wineries. Merseburg: Visit the impressive cathedral and castle ensemble and discover the famous Merseburg Incantations in the Cathedral Chapter Library in the Chapter House. Leipzig: Here you will not only feel the spirit of Goethe but also the beginning of the peaceful revolution of 1989. In the evening, wind down the day in the seating area with a fire drum or grill. Ich wurde sehr herzlich empfangen, hatte Zugang zu einem wunderschönen Garten, ein liebevolles Frühstück im Wintergarten, die Gastgeberin hatte wertvolle Tips über die Gegend sowie viel geschichtliche Informationen. Die Lage war perfekt um den Geiseltalsee sowie die Gegend der Saale /Unstrut zu erkunden. Absolut empfehlenswert!
