Walcot Street is the heart of Baths ‘Artisan Quarter’ with many quirky shops and cafes, such as Walcot House, nearby. You’ll find a whole host of independent traders, selling everything from homeware to clothing, with plenty of eateries in between. The area is steeped in history, dating as far back as Roman times and is thought by some to be the oldest commercial street in Bath. It’s not hard to see why locals and visitors alike enjoy a stroll along Walcot Street! Walking is the best way to get around and, due to the fantastic central location of this property, you’ll find most of the main attractions, shops and restaurants are just a short walk away. The train and bus station are a 20 minute walk away or a 10 minute taxi journey.
