The town is a must-see. It is famous for its traditional Trulli houses and excellent restaurants. All along this stretch of coast, visitors will find some of Italy’s most beautiful beaches.
North of Monopoli is Polignano a Mare (15 minutes) which offers excellent snorkelling in its clear waters. For history lovers, the archaeological museum at Egnazi (9 minutes) offers a fascinating glimpse into Puglia’s complicated past. The closest airport is at Bari, a 50-minute drive from the apartment.
