The house stood abandoned on the outskirts of the city, a relic from times gone by. It looked like a ghost from a bygone era, just waiting for its final decay in the silence of the neighbourhood. The windows, long since broken, showed only empty, dark eye sockets through which the wind whistled. The walls were covered in mould and moss, the paint long since eaten away by the damp. Cracks ran in irregular patterns across the façade, as if the house itself was in pain.
The garden, once a place of life, was now an overgrown thicket of overgrown bushes and decaying trees. In many places, the walkways had been reclaimed by nature, with grass and ivy making their way through the cracks. There was a feeling of abandonment about the estate that even the best rays of sunshine could not dispel.
Inside the house, the air was thick and stale, filled with a musty odour from the constant damp. The floor was soaked through in many places and was in constant danger of collapsing. The ceilings hung askew and threatened to fall down at any moment. The wallpaper, once decorated with floral patterns, had long since peeled off and was hanging in tatters from the walls. Only the creaking wood and the soft dripping of water broke the eerie silence.
The house was not only uninhabitable, it was a place that nipped any hope of a new life in the bud. It was a ruin, a memorial to the inexorable passage of time and the inevitable passing of all earthly things.Basic information: - Pets allowed: 1
