Ideal for families, with a wood-burning stove in winter and air conditioning in summer, and a small, private garden, our gîte is very comfortable, quiet, and ideally located in the heart of Semur-en-Auxois.
Just 200 meters from the center of the medieval town of Semur-en-Auxois, this beautiful 19th-century house has been fully renovated to offer comfortable accommodation to tourists visiting Burgundy.
Ground floor: entrance with laundry area, fully equipped kitchen.
A few steps lead to the living and dining room with a wood-burning stove and air conditioning.
Shower room with walk-in shower and separate WC. A beautiful antique staircase leads to the upstairs bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed (140cm) and air conditioning, and a large air-conditioned bedroom with a queen-size bed (160cm) and balcony, which connects to the third bedroom with two single beds (90cm) that can be joined together.
High chair and travel cot available.
Nespresso coffee machine. New for summer 2026: Air conditioning is installed, providing welcome comfort during these times of extreme heat. Private garden of approximately 200 m². Easy street parking.
Bicycle storage. All-inclusive price, except tourist tax: bed linen, final cleaning, towels, mains gas heating, wood-burning stove, and air conditioning (electricity and wood included). Excellent internet connection (fiber optic box). Option for secure covered parking with access to an electric charging station (7.4 kW). (€10/night) The medieval town of Semur offers all shops and services and remains a living testament to a rich past: fortified gates, ramparts, a keep, and steep alleyways leading to the banks of the Armançon River can be explored day and night.
Things to do: the Notre-Dame Collegiate Church, the museum, the tourist train, and the Orle d'Or Tower.
Nearby: castles Epoisses, Bourbilly, Bussy-Rabutin, the Alésia Museum Park, Fontenay Abbey (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, one of the most beautiful villages in France.
