In a lush, idyllic setting, Pauline's cottage, nestled on the edge of the forest, promises a truly relaxing and restful stay.
This charming, typical Morvan detached house, tastefully renovated, is laid out as follows: On the ground floor, an entrance hall, a pleasant 30m² living room with a wood-burning stove.
A fully equipped kitchen with a classic filter coffee maker and a Nespresso machine.
A shower room with shower and toilet. Upstairs, the landing leads to two double bedrooms.
One, spacious, has a king-size bed (180x190cm). The second, 8m², offers a queen-size bed (160x190cm) and the option of adding an extra bed on the small raised platform (€15/person per night). A bathroom and toilet are also located on this floor. The 3000m² landscaped grounds are beautifully situated. Terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. Numerous hiking, mountain biking, and cycling trails are available in the area to discover the authentic beauty of this region: several marked FFC (French Cycling Federation) mountain bike trails, one of which passes right by the house. Nearby: Saulieu, a renowned gastronomic town home to Maison Loiseau and the François Pompon Museum; numerous lakes for swimming, fishing, or water sports, including Lakes Chamboux, Saint Agnan, and Settons. To fully enjoy your stay without worrying about preparing meals, you can order and have delivered quality prepared dishes, brunches, and more from a partner caterer. Kitchen linens, made beds, end-of-stay cleaning, and heating are included in the rates. Electricity is included, except for electric vehicle charging. Optional: Towel rental: €4 per person.
