Very quietly located in the Schöntal part of the village directly on the forest and 100 metres from the Schöntal swimming pond. Schöntal has no through traffic, generally only 30 km per hour allowed.

Optimal starting point for extensive hiking and trekking tours, through the unspoilt German-French biosphere reserve Palatinate Forest/North Vosges or tours to the countless castle ruins and bizarre rock formations in the surrounding area, relax at one of the many swimming ponds of Ludwigswinkel, great mountain bike tours (direct access to signposted tours at the house), but also relaxed touring cycling without significant climbs in the Sauerbach valley to Wissembourg - Alsace, visit to the biosphere house in the neighbouring village with treetop path, barefoot park, mini golf, and really high-quality gastronomy.

We provide our guests with a ladies' and men's bike free of charge (additional bike trailer for dogs available free of charge) help and advise you in the planning of tours and also offer guided (for a fee) hiking, trekking, cycling and mountain bike tours individually planned for you.
