Casa Assunta is a studio apartment situated in the hills above the Amalfi Coast, with panoramic views of the sea and the Li Galli islands. Busy Positano is 3 km away, and the picture-postcard towns of Praiano, Amalfi and Ravello are only a little further along the coast.


If you want to spend most days at the beach, you will have plenty of choice in Positano. However, for a more secluded and discreet experience, you can reach the Tordigliano beach via a rough and rather challenging path that descends from the main road, about 400 m from the villa (a 20-minute walk).

Entering the courtyard is the entrance to Casa Assunta. Immediately to the left is the first of the two bathrooms. The bathroom consists of a toilet, washbasin and shower.

Just outside the entrance to the flat, there is a small outdoor area in the courtyard with a table and chairs for guests to dine al fresco but no sea view.

Continuing along the corridor you will reach the kitchen area. A brand new, fully equipped kitchen with large windows overlooking the sea.

To the right is the living room area with TV, Wi-Fi and double sofa bed.

Next to the living room is the second bathroom, furnished with toilet, bidet, shower and washbasin.


From the living area there is access to the bedroom, a spacious room with a double bed and fully furnished with wardrobe and chest of drawers. The bedroom offers privacy as it is separated by a door from the rest of the flat.

What to know

- Although a car is not essential, it is recommended in high season when the number of tourists puts pressure on the local bus system.

- Private parking for one car only. There is a 300m slope from the garage (so not advisable for the elderly or those with mobility problems) to the front door, but the owners, who live on site, are happy to help with luggage.

- Positano is at its most beautiful between April-June and September-October, when there are fewer tourists but the days are still warm and sunny.

- Take advantage of the many boat trips from Positano, along the Amalfi Coast and to Capri.

- House not suitable for the elderly or those with mobility impairments

- The owner lives in the same park, just above the villa and will be at your disposal for any enquiries
