History buffs will be fascinated by the Cathar castles, such as Lastours and Saissac, as well as the Abbey of Saint-Hilaire. A few kilometres away is Limoux and its famous Blanquette, and a little further afield in the upper Aude Valley you can enjoy white-water sports.
