During the visit, visitors can discover the high town or citadel of Vauban, the very heart of Briançon, dominated by the castle fort and the various surrounding structures such as the fort des Salettes, the fort des Trois Têtes and the fort du Randouillet.
Once you have passed the Pignerol gate, the picturesque old town reveals to its visitors many testimonies of its past.
