"a Bäckesch 15" was built in the 1870s as a simple farmhouse in the usual rural style and has been family-owned ever since.
As the house is located directly on the "Urft" stream flowing through the village, it was severely affected by the flood in the summer of 2021 – like many other houses on the Urft, Erft, and in the Ahr Valley.
In the following year, the house was painstakingly rebuilt with great attention to detail and brought up to date both energetically and technically.
You will now find this beautiful vacation apartment in the center of the village, in a modern yet rustic-antique style. "a Bäckesch 15" features a beautiful living room with a wood-burning stove, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Additionally, there is the option for up to two more people to use the sofa bed. The vacation apartment also has a large flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bed linen and towels are provided. A parking space, storage for bicycles, firewood for the stove, and facilities for drying laundry are available in the outdoor area of the apartment. The final cleaning of the apartment is also included in the price. Please inquire about the current prices for your individual Eifelsteig booking package. Upon confirmation of your booking request, a 25% deposit of the total price is due within 5 days. Cancellations up to 4 weeks before arrival are free of charge.
Cancellations made after this period will result in the deposit being charged or retained. Rebooking is only possible by individual arrangement. Check-in is possible individually from 3:00 PM.
