Only a 15-minute drive from nearby Positano and ideally located for visiting the most emblematic places on the Amalfi Coast, this charming fishing village is quieter than Positano and highly recommended if you are looking for local flavours and a relaxed atmosphere.

A holiday at Casa Gianna is all about relaxation. The house has a parking space, but the ability to walk to Praiano's shops and restaurants or take a bus to explore the surroundings is a real plus. Moreover, the house has direct access to the sea via a panoramic path carved into the rock. With a total of 205 steps, the fenced-in path winds along the verdant hillside, dotted with belvederes with benches and a shower, to a platform overlooking the sea and a natural swimming pool that children will love. The path is shared with the building's other flats, which are generally occupied by their owners during the summer months.


Casa Gianna covers 90m², with a living-dining room (this room does not have air conditioning), 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The flat is traditionally furnished, with minimal furniture but with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. What makes it really special is the wonderful covered terrace, which offers a simply enchanting view and is an idyllic place to enjoy leisurely breakfasts and dinners outdoors, regardless of the weather.

Full-height glass doors lead to the terrace directly from the living room, where there are two double sofas and a TV. At the rear of the living room is a table for six. The independent kitchen is well equipped with all amenities, including a washing machine.

- To access the flat's allocated parking space, you pass through a private path and an electric gate. From here, there is a descent of 40 easy steps and then an ascent of 25 steps.

- The path leading to the sea has 205 steps and is shared with the other owners of the building. Viewpoints and benches provide pleasant places to rest on the way up to the flat. The path leads to the seashore where a secluded rock pool is a lovely place for children to swim.

- The Amalfi Coast is beautiful at any time of year, but it is busier in the summer months. If you prefer to stay a little off the beaten track, Praiano is generally quieter than nearby Positano and Amalfi and has retained the atmosphere of a quiet fishing village.

- Wherever you are on the Amalfi Coast, you can enjoy excellent food. Visit a local dairy to sample creamy mozzarella and ricotta or enjoy fried anchovies, warm seafood salads and spaghetti alle vongole as you watch the sun set over the sea.
