We are offering two spacious apartments (both included in the price!) accessed from the same landing so perfect for a large group/2 families seeking some individual privacy. Each apartment is individually equipped, and each has its own balcony. Both apartments are set together and doors can be opened to use them together if you prefer.
Entrance is upstairs:
Double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Twin bedroom Bathroom with tub and shower over Kitchen diner with room for 8 to dine together. Oven (new for 2025), hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge freezer. Kitchen has double doors leading to balcony with al fresco dining area.

This property is ideal for groups who want their own space, but who also want to spend time together outside in the garden dining under the pergola. The garden is ideally equipped for al fresco living!
Garden Pool area - pool 8M x 4M plus Roman Steps - for your exclusive use Wonderful personal covered eating area perfect for al fresco dining, barbeques and relaxing together, with gas BBQ with burners, and sink. Outside fridge/freezer WC Laundry room. Table football (new for 2025) and net for pool games (new for 2025).
For those days when a total rest is required, just relax by the pool.........

In 2024 we received comments that the advert had not made clear that the villa is the owners' family home, and they let out the 2 apartments to guests. They do not use your garden or pool area and do all they can to respect privacy. They have their own family garden at the back of the property and for 2025 have prepared their own entrance from the road. Owners leave the parking for your exclusive use (although they may occasionally use the driveway for unloading). Of course, you have the added benefit that the owners can help you if you need anything!
Location & surroundings
Property with exclusive use of garden and pool close to the historic centre of the medieval city of Lucca. The location is perfect for exploring - a semi-rural position yet only a 5 minute drive or 2.1km walk from the centre of delightful Lucca. Only a 5-minute drive from the motorway ideal for visiting the many delights of Tuscany by car, or if you prefer, travel by train from Lucca too. Do see below for suggestions of daytrips - the choice is endless.
Nevertheless car hire is recommended. Our conclusion is that this option is a great offering for those wishing to use a property as a base to explore the area without the need to travel half way down a mountain, yet with the benefits of exclusive use of a pool, which one usually only finds with a rural villa.
Please note that automated distance information can be misleading in rural areas. Although some places may appear close “as the crow flies,” walking routes are often impractical. Close to the stunning historic centre of the mediaeval walled City of Lucca and also Lucca train station - 2.1 km by foot and 4km by car. Lucca, has regular markets, antiques markets, outdoor concerts, designer shopping, nightly opera recitals, the wall for cycling, relaxing, children's parks, plenty of wonderful restaurants and bars, and beautiful Piazzas for coffee, prosecco and people watching.
The train station of Lucca regularly serves Florence, Pisa, and the seaside direct and there is also access to Siena and Montecatini etc with one change. Exploring by bicycle is a favourite in Lucca and there are lots of places to hire them .......
Ideal base for exploring Tuscan delights and some suggestions are: Wine tasting - situated close to the Strada del Vino there are plenty of wine tasting opportunities Golf - various golf options Pisa with its duomo and leaning tower- 20 minutes Beach - the Versilia coast 20 minutes Florence - 50 minutes Montecatini - UNESCO world heritage town and spa, also famous for wine - 30 minutes Garfagnana - stunning mountain scenery and mediaeval villages - 40 minutes Siena -UNESCO world heritage city - 1hr 40 minutes Torre del Lago - the tower on the lake, famous for its Puccini festival - 25 minutes Lerici - beach area further up towards Genoa - 50 minutes La Spezia - for the famous UNESCO world heritage Cinque Terre - 1 hour Pistoia - cultural city - 35 minutes San Giuliano Terme - Thermal baths - 15 minutes Pietrasanta - beautiful mediaeval town and Marina - 35 minutes with the marina just 30 minutes

The villa was ideal, very spacious, kitchen and bathroom were very nice. The owner (Feri) was on hand to help with anything.The pool and outdoor space were fantastic.The villa is situated just outside of Lucca, (35 min walk). If mobility is an issue, you may need a car, although there is a bus route a 10 min walk from the villa.If travelling from UK, be aware the two sizes of adapters are required.

Very helpful host makes you feel really welcome. Large well equipped apartment with bathroom for each bedroom. Excellent pool and outside facilities. Surroundings outside the garden with a waste water plant nearby is the only thing preventing 5 stars.
