The apartment is also within easy reach of all of the attractions. Not forgetting the seaside charm of the town, you’ll find plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes to discover in Scarborough, as well as arcades and ice cream parlours. There are a number of beaches for you to choose from. The popular South Bay is a sun trap and close to the hustle and bustle of the town centre. North Bay has been accredited with Blue Flag status meaning it’s one of the best beaches in Europe! Ideal for all weathers, there are lots of indoor attractions in Scarborough for the whole family. Head to Sea Life Sanctuary to see seals, penguins, sharks, turtles and more, or Scarborough Castle to explore its 3000 year history. If it’s outdoor fun you’re looking for, The Open Air Theatre is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, here you can see amazing bands, singers and comedians. With only a short walk to the cliff lift you can enjoy the Scarborough coastline in a matter of minutes, Scarborough is within a 1 hours’ drive time of Whitby, Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey. Scarborough Train Station is a short 12 minute walk away and has routes to Filey, Bridlington, Liverpool and Sheffield. There are plenty of bus routes throughout Scarborough. Hop on the 12 route and you can visit neighbouring seaside spots of Filey and Bridlington. The X93 travels through to Middlesbrough with drop offs in Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby.

Enjoyed our stay, great location - close enough to town, shops, beach but far enough to get away from the various noises and seagulls etc. Everything was working, clean etc. kitchen has coffee, tea, sugar, starter milk, salt and pepper, cleaning materials but no spices, oil etc all cleaning products, vacuum, dish & clothes washer, iron, drier etc

Everything worked fine, location is ideal, close but far enough away for a bit of peace (less seagulls, less traffic and other noise). Nice short walk (uphill) away from the main beaches etc. close to cliffs, beach, shops and takeaway. Good communication about everything you need to know from property.
