(*subject to a charge) Locarno-Ascona is the cultural center of the Swiss lake district on Lake Maggiore.

Ascona, the jewel on the lake, is a true paradise with its direct lakeside location, palm trees, Mediterranean atmosphere, and mild climate.

Shaped by history, art, and culture, it is a popular holiday destination today.

The typically brightly painted houses along the lake promenade give the former fishing village a very special charm, inviting you to relax, stroll, or enjoy a magnificent sunset over the lake. Locarno is the film city by the lake and the ideal starting point for excursions into the surrounding valleys.

Between culture, lake, and mountains, it is the perfect holiday destination for relaxation or excellent entertainment.

The "Città Vecchia" (Old Town) is full of surprises and interesting discoveries with its boutiques, cafes, stately homes, churches, and the Visconti Castle.

The picturesque, historically rich atmosphere in the narrow streets, all leading to the famous Piazza Grande, is characteristic.

In Locarno-Ascona, the many valleys with steep mountains end, full of the simple and authentic beauty of the villages and nature.

A paradise for nature lovers and athletes, lake and mountain enthusiasts.
