Our accommodation, renovated in 2024, is beautifully situated in a scenic location on the edge of the Bad Salzuflen town forest.
The fully equipped apartment is an ideal starting point for long hikes in the 630-hectare forest area. The good connection to the A2 highway is useful for quickly reaching the surrounding towns. A large, free parking lot offers ample space for trucks and caravans. Location and Excursion Destinations: Our accommodation is quietly located, away from busy roads, yet only about a 10-15 minute drive from Bad Salzuflen, Herford, and Vlotho. A bus connection is available 150 meters away, and shopping facilities, doctor's and dentist's offices, and ATMs are 2 km away. We are easily and quickly accessible from the A2 highway exit Herford Ost. Parking, even for large vehicles with trailers, is free and directly on our property.
A walk through the Bad Salzuflen town forest, located right outside our doorstep, is highly recommended, especially with children.
During the summer months, you can reach the "Zur Loose" mini-golf course with a nice restaurant and beer garden within a 15-minute walk. Other excursion destinations include the Vitasol thermal spa and sauna complex (7 minutes by car), H2O wave pool with an outdoor pool and sauna complex (12 minutes by car), Martha Herford (13 minutes by car), Bad Salzuflen Exhibition Centre (16 minutes by car), and the Kaiser Wilhelm Monument on the Weser river in Porta Westfalica (25 minutes by car). Children are very welcome. Smoking and pets are not allowed in the apartment! For further information, please refer to our house rules on our homepage.
